Usually when the weather is “uncooperative,” there is a feeling of disappointment on the wedding day. However, for Maxwell and Jamie, this foggy winter day was so amazingly romantic and dreamy! It only added to the beauty at The Inn at Serenbe and seriously, their portraits are stunning! We’d never purposely wish for “bad” weather, but we sure as heck may wish for a foggy afternoon again after seeing this day come together!
Serenbe’s backdrop provided a whimsical, magical, fairytale forest vibe for Maxwell and Jamie’s beautiful Jewish NYE wedding. As the fog settled on the horizon, it felt otherworldly.
Porches are designed to be a gathering place for family and friends. It was only fitting then that they all gathered on the porch of this lovely inn. The simple chuppah of birch branches invoked the quiet forest in the misty weather all around them.
For the reception, The swags of eucalyptus lining the tables filled the air with a crisp botanical aroma that smelled of winter and earth.
The couple’s love of donuts was shared with their guests alongside their wedding cake. Their signage and napkins were an extra personal touch, and tied in their beautiful royal blue color.
